What is IKEA Guessr Unlimited?
IKEA Guessr Unlimited is the endless version of IKEAGuessr, the IKEA price guessing game. The daily game gives everyone one product a day. Here there is no limit: each round shows a random product from the IKEA US catalog, with its photo and full name, and you get 6 tries to guess what it costs. Land within 10% of the real price to win, then press Next for another product. Play one round on a coffee break or fifty in a row.
Unlimited vs. the daily game
- Products come from a separate pool of 1,000 items, so playing here never spoils a daily puzzle.
- Your streak counts wins in a row, not days in a row. One loss resets it to zero.
- Unlimited stats are saved in your browser, separate from your daily stats.
- Rounds are picked at random, so a product may come up again now and then.
- There is no countdown. A Next button takes its place.
The rules are the same in both modes: 6 tries, a 10% window to win, and the same colors and arrows. If you can win here, you can win the daily puzzle.
How to play Unlimited mode
Look at the photo and read the product name, then type a price in dollars and press Guess (or Enter). Whole dollars like 49 work, and so do cents like 12.99. Each guess gets a color and an arrow:
- Green ✓: within 10% of the real price. You win the round.
- Yellow: within 25%. You're close, and the arrow says whether to go higher (↑) or lower (↓).
- Red: more than 25% off. Follow the arrow and take a bigger step.
After a win or your sixth miss, the real price appears. Press Next to load a new product, or Share to copy your result. The share text is marked Unlimited and shows your colored squares, not the price.
An example round
Say the product is a floor lamp that costs $69.99. Lighting's median in this pool is about $41, so you open at $40 and get red with ↑: the lamp costs more than $50. You jump to $80 and get yellow with ↓, so the price is somewhere between about $64 and $80. You guess $70 and it turns green. Three tries, and your streak goes up by one.
Why play unlimited rounds?
One puzzle a day is a slow way to learn what IKEA charges. Ten rounds in a row teach you much faster. After a while you remember that home textiles usually cost around $20, lighting around $40, and sofas and beds a few hundred dollars. That feel for prices is exactly what the daily game rewards, so Unlimited makes a good warm-up before the day's puzzle.
It also works as a game for two. Hand someone your phone, take turns guessing the same product, and see who lands closer before the six tries run out.
IKEA prices in the unlimited pool
The 1,000 unlimited products cover 17 IKEA departments, with prices from $5 to $2,832. The median is $29.99. About six in ten cost under $50, and four in ten cost under $20. About one in seven is $200 or more, and 11 products cost $1,000 or more. Three in four prices end in .99, and most of the rest are whole dollars.
Typical prices by department (median, then the full range):
| Department | Median | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Laundry & cleaning | $12.49 | $5.99–$99.99 |
| Kitchenware & tableware | $13.99 | $5–$69.99 |
| Boxes, organizers & baskets | $14.99 | $5.99–$99.99 |
| Plants & planters | $14.99 | $5.99–$64.99 |
| Home decor | $14.99 | $6.99–$169.99 |
| Home textiles | $19.99 | $5–$279 |
| Baby & kids | $19.99 | $5–$299 |
| Lighting | $40.99 | $5.99–$249.99 |
| Bathroom | $49.99 | $6.99–$599 |
| Outdoor | $59.99 | $14.99–$2,832 |
| Storage & organization | $97.48 | $5–$898 |
| Tables & chairs | $109.99 | $7.99–$1,089 |
| Desks & desk chairs | $119.99 | $6–$614.95 |
| Rugs & flooring | $139.99 | $5.99–$899.99 |
| Sofas & armchairs | $249 | $19.99–$2,149 |
| Kitchen & appliances | $257.50 | $5.99–$1,499 |
| Beds & mattresses | $278.50 | $39.99–$998 |
The extremes are where rounds get lost. The most expensive product is a BÅTSKÄR outdoor kitchen at $2,832, even though the outdoor department's median is only $59.99. Sofas run from a $19.99 armrest tray to a $2,149 five-seat MORABO sectional. At the bottom, a wire basket, a 24-pack of curtain hooks and a wall hook each cost $5.
Tips for a longer streak
- Open with the department median. Find the product's department in the table above and start there. It's the guess most likely to land yellow or green.
- Look for numbers in the name. "24 pack", "5-seat" or a size in inches tells you more than the photo. Photos are cropped to the product, so a stool and a table can look the same size.
- Don't underestimate appliances. Ovens and ranges cost hundreds of dollars and can pass $1,000. Don't open at $50 just because the photo shows a plain box.
- Bracket, then split. Once you have one guess too low and one too high, guess halfway between them. A 10% window is wide enough that three or four splits find almost any price.
- Spend your last try on the middle. On try six, pick the middle of the range you've narrowed down, not the end you feel lucky about. A loss resets your streak to zero.
Streaks and stats
Press 📊 to see your Unlimited stats: rounds played, win rate, current streak, best streak, and a chart of how many tries your wins took. They are stored in your browser's local storage, apart from the daily game's stats. Nothing is sent to a server, so clearing site data or switching devices starts you from zero.
FAQ
Is IKEA Guessr Unlimited free?
Yes. There's no account, no app and no payment, and no limit on rounds. It runs in any modern browser on a phone or a computer.
How many products are in Unlimited mode?
1,000. They come from the same IKEA US snapshot as the daily game, but none of them shares a product series with a daily puzzle, so you won't see a daily answer here.
Can the same product come up twice?
Yes. Each round picks a product at random from all 1,000, so repeats happen now and then, more often the longer you play.
Does Unlimited affect my daily streak?
No. The two modes keep separate streaks and stats. You can play as many unlimited rounds as you like and still have the daily puzzle waiting.
Where do the prices come from?
From a public snapshot of the IKEA US website taken in July 2025, the ikea-us-products-2025 dataset. Prices are in US dollars and may differ from what IKEA charges in stores today or in other countries.
Is this an official IKEA game?
